Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use BhamaPages (“the service”). By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service does

BhamaPages turns Markdown text into a formatted document you can read, copy into other tools, and — if you choose — share with a link. Writing, previewing, copying, downloading and printing work without an account. Saving or sharing a document requires signing in with Google.

Your content

• You keep all rights to what you write or paste. We do not claim ownership of it.
• You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the service — for example, showing a shared page to someone who opens its link.
• Private pages can be opened only by the identity that saved them. Pages shared with anyone with the link can be read by anyone who has it. Shared pages are not listed anywhere on the service and ask search engines not to index them, but anyone who has the link can pass it on.
• You are responsible for what you save and share. Do not save secrets, passwords or personal data you are not entitled to store.

What you may not do

You may not use the service to store or share content that:

• is illegal, or that sexually exploits or endangers children;
• is phishing, a scam, malware, or links designed to deceive or harm people;
• harasses, threatens or abuses others, or exposes someone’s private information;
• infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.

You also may not attempt to disrupt or overload the service, bypass its limits or protections, or create pages in bulk using automated tools.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report a shared page using the “Report this page” link on it, or the report form. We may remove any page, or block access to it, at any time and without notice if we believe it breaks these terms or the law.

Limits and keeping your work safe

• Each page can hold up to 20,000 characters.
• Saved pages belong to the Google account you signed in with, so you can open them from any browser or device. Text you have not saved lives only in your browser and is lost if you clear its site data.
• We do not promise the service will always be available or that stored pages will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important — “Download” and “Export all” are in the app for that.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and ending use

We may change these terms or the service. When the change is significant we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. You can stop using the service at any time and delete your pages from within the app; we may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.
